Multisensory Structured Literacy Tuition

I provide specialist multisensory structured literacy tuition designed to help children build strong, confident reading, spelling and writing skills. My sessions follow a clear, step-by-step approach that ensures every child develops secure foundations while also feeling motivated and successful.

Using a multisensory method means children learn through seeing, hearing, saying and doing. I use a variety of practical activities, games and hands-on resources so that learning feels active and engaging rather than overwhelming. This approach helps children remember what they have learned and apply it confidently in their reading and writing.

Each lesson is carefully structured but also adapted to suit the individual child. I focus on securing key skills such as phonics knowledge, accurate spelling, reading accuracy fluency and clear written expression.

My aim is not only to improve literacy skills, but also to build confidence and a positive attitude towards learning. When children feel supported and experience success, they become more willing to try, practise and believe in themselves.

I am trained in using the’ Dyslexia Action Literacy Programme’ (DALP) and also RWInc trained.

Availability and cost

I currently have some availability during the school day and Tuesdays after school.

Cost: £60 for a 1 hour lesson (£50 for 50mins) at my home in Chiddingfold. Local travel may be considered.

The first lesson is an opportunity for your child to meet me and for me to assess their current skills. I will feedback my plan for future sessions and if you decide you wish to continue you will then be invoiced for the remaining half-term.
